1.5 The Redstone Update

Minecraft 1.5 is planned to be another big update, known as the redstone update. Please post your opinions, ideas, news for 1.5, pretty much anything that goes along with the redstone update. For more information, go to my blog about it.

I just use redstone for cosmetic stuff (doorbells, Christmas lights [which are hard], auto shutting wood doors, ect.) so I won't really care about it. My redstone crazy friend however...

I use redstone but I don't bother making complex redstone stuff so I would like simple stuff (Eg. Like when redstone lamps were added) to make redstone creations less complex and easier to understand.

Never used redstone, never liked it. I prefer simple levers and buttons.

I'm not a big fan of redstone, either, but they plan on adding other features such as better combat and better lighting.
Also, here's something I want them to put in combat. Let's say, I'm wearing full diamond, but no boots. If something hits me in the feet, I take more damage then I would if I was being punched in the face. Makes me want to aim my attacks and makes PVP a little more fun.
