OK guys well just seconds ago I was looking through the updates on the Minecraft Launcher and on the bottom of the 1.3.1 updates I saw "Herobrine Removed"
WTF
I use to think herobrine was just a joke before this .... or is this a joke ....

Early on in the game, Notch used Herobrine as a test of NPC characters when it first started. It was probably disabled, but they just now removed his coding from the game.

There never was Herobrine.It was probably just the Human mob.
EDIT: And "Just now"? It says "Removed Herobrine" in a lot of updates before 1.3.1, started saying that on Beta 1.6.6 (Though the update logs are jokes.)

i am simply unsure about herobrine ive seen him on you tube but stuff like that isnt too hard to fake but i went trough the last few updates and it is an inconsistent pattern and i have seen people catch an actual steve model with no eyes on a single player game that just simply walked away into the mist on a tiny render distance as soon as he looked at him my personal theory on herobrine is that he might be a virus someone coninues to update and then upload aafte hacking into the minecraft servers

It's a joke. If you look back at the last few logs it says the exact same thing.
