Weird font by one player

Hey there minecraft community. I had a question. I run a server with no sort of chat plugin on it, and one of our members has a different font.

Any ideas what's going on?

It's either the work of copy-pasting or possibly a hacked client/modded client.

Found out that it was indeed a hacked client. We dinged the same guy the next day for using all kinds of hacks.
