I find the updates okay but I found enderdragon a really disappointing battle

true it is become strang BUT FRIKEN AWESOME

Half of what you guys say make no sense whatsoever, This is a game with two modes. Creative and Survival, Survival is a RPG/Survivalist game, whereas Creative is a massive sandbox. With the latest additions to the game. Superflat maps are now upgrading the sandbox, And now theres even more fun to be had in survival with the new Sheep/apple mechanics aswell as updates to wheat/melon farming. And thats what each updates been doing. "Buffing" or increasing the stuff in each mode. Although for some reason, people try to think Creative is supposed to be in survival. and this is a horrible misconception

What I'm trying to say is. your crappy 1.2 alpha didn't have any "creative" it was a nearly broken game with some sandbox aspects! Don't downgrade, Play the game how it was meant to in whatever version you want to play!
My rants over.

Stop being silly, What I'm trying to say, is Don't whine about the updates, Mojang is not trying to profit, and their game is 100% better today than a year ago -Scotlock.

Minecraft was always supposed to be like a sandbox adventure game with RPG elements. Potions, enchantments, and dimensions were planned from pretty early on. If all you want is a sandbox, play creative mode or classic.

The eggs are only available in creative mode. They are meant for mapmakers to spawn specific creatures where they want for whatever purpose. For example, people who build roleplay towns for single-player download can throw Testificate eggs behind counters to act as merchants, or throw a creeper egg behind some steel bars to become an captured monster. It's a lot better than trying to guide an already-spawned mob into a certain place, or using game-breaking mods.

The best thing about the game is it's flexibility and adaptability to different players styles. With the upcoming API coming up, the game will be about anything you want it to be. Basically unhateable unless you are a really talented hater.

In my opinion, the game is fine right now. I mean, lag has decreased and Minecraft actually has potion brewing and enchanting, and a crap load of new achievements.
If you guys don't like the updates, just go back to 1.8 or something.

I like the direction the game is going. Those that like building can still build while all the other adventure and action parts are being upgraded. It is getting better for everyone.

Yeah even though getting to the end AND defeating the ender-dragon is nearly impossible on survival there should be no end to minecraft

There isn't a real end to minecraft its just the end of the enderdragon part of the game.

I personally dont dislike any of the new additions. If anything I want more stuff added.

Enchantments and stuff like that are not what I dislike, an end to the game? will not like it but not constantly troll about it. But the new generation? horrible! I hate the new biome generation. I liked the old biomes and those random cliffs, at least Jeb started to put those random hills and beaches back in the new pre-release

Well, they made Minecraft a lot more realistic, and thats not a good thing in some cases, like Rivers, those are ok I guess but, Sand and Gravel both are effected by Gravity, and Dirt isn't, but in the real World, Sand and Gravel will fall due to Gravity and so will Dirt
(P.S. something else that makes me mad, Enchanting, thank GOD for Enchanting mods!)

I admit I think it's kind of strange but I like how many things you can create now and get from all the strange creatures. As long as they don't go overboard I like it. )

It's what happens. Times change, and people change. Notch used to want Minecraft to be reminiscent of the old west, but now things are too complicated to go with that allegory. I still sometimes backdate Minecraft to Alpha 1.2 and pretend I'm a cowboy.

I liked minecraft when it was 1.7.3 i might even downgrade my server to that =P

the main change the the start is mobs, the nether (and end) , and Potions.... why Potions they are soo unminecrafty!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

You respawn in your world and how is it stupid when YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO DO THAT.

They ditched a great un-finished game for a crappy stolen idea of a game about Scrolls which Mojang nearly got sewed for.
Minecraft will never be finished. All Mojang want now is cash.

Enchantments are awesome. And Killing the Ender Dragon is hardly beating Minecraft in my eyes. As far as I am concerned, it is a major milestone, and an achievemant, and added a goal that was missing. But even though that is when the credits role, I think we all know that there is no real 'end' to minecraft, and this keeps it the same as before, with an extra challenge.

This is an old 1.8 argument. You will get the same responses, so dont continue on with this please.

Once you get used to the updates it's good.
