What's the strangest banned items or features you've seen on a Minecraft server?

Hi all - it's been eons!
For a project I'm making, I'm revisiting some of the weird rules and restrictions on old Minecraft servers. I'm basically considering whether banning items is worth it to sacrifice important parts of the game - case in point, I played on one server where I wasn't allowed to place water buckets because of an exploit.
What about you guys?

Dirt starter houses were banned on a server years back. Nothing too strange lately other then the obvious no 1x1 nerd poles.

This one isn't to weird but I played on a server a few months back that banned farms that used tnt weather it be tnt duping or anything else. They also banned fishing and a way they enforced it was by giving you a high chance of fishing lit tnt.

I honestly don't know why they did that. My guess is to make sure no one makes an afk fish farm but mojang basically destroyed those.
