I have an idea for the Minecraft 1.5 update. I know that Mojang said 1.4 is probably the last major update with new mobs, blocks, etc., but there are some really great ideas out there (buildable ships, fish, etc.). A lot of people want customizable paintings, so this might help. I was thinking that they could consider adding this: the Camera.

The Camera is already in MC Pocket Edition, but it doesn't actually anything. It also has two records instead of legs. Anyway, the camera would be 1 or 1.5 blocks tall. You would place it down, then when you right clicked it your view would switch to the camera's view. You would right click again to get out of it. The camera would follow the cross hairs.
The cross hairs would look like this- |_o_|
When you pressed "a" the camera would tilt left, and when you pressed "d" the camera would tilt right. To return the camera to its original position (straight), you would press "s". To take a picture you would left click while in the camera view. When you pressed "e", it would go to the camera's inventory screen. The inventory would be a mix of the dispenser and the villager. How it would work is you would put a Film in the Film slot and select the timer. There would be 3 timer settings.
1) Off- this would just take pictures as soon as you left clicked in the camera view.
2) 15 sec.- this takes a picture after 15 seconds after you left clicked in the camera view, whether you were still using the camera or not.
3) 30 sec.- same as 15 sec., but for 30 seconds.
The camera would also be able to be powered with redstone. When your picture is taken, a "Picture" would appear in the Camera inventory. This Picture would function like a Map, where you could look at it and place it in an item frame. Or maybe it would function like a Painting, but i like the Map idea.

Villagers build up their villages like they'll make a wall...
Guys I know whats actually coming out in 1.5... Some stuff. My friends dad knows someone who works at Mojang (Marc Watson I think) And he said these things: 1. Bottles O Chanting give more XP. 2. You can cook pumpkin pie in the furnace. 3. Now when you throw a splash potion, bottle o chanting, ect it looks a lot more realistic. Guys I'm not lying. This is all I know right now.
Vertical Redstone would be cool.
iron dust, shattered diamond which are like gold nuggets. when you smelt any armor iron and above, you get some of its materials back. when you break glass you can get broken glass. it takes 9 broken glass pieces to make 1 glass. able to choose the painting rather then random.
Yes, that would be useful. and maybe you could choose to have a security feed from the camera.
About the fish thing you mentioned, it's a good idea. Keep hoping because Mojang already has the idea themselves. I believe it was Notch that said he wanted to make fishing more lively and necessary to do..

Extremely hard to get, has levels I to V
