Well, it's obviously not a christmas update, because a complete minecraft update doesn't come in a month.

What i really want to see is lighting bug fixes and mod api

@solarSelect if you want guns go install a mod there's no need for guns in minecraft, its a good idea but i would just install mods

Re-add giant mobs to the game and finally add the Red Dragon mob.

Super improve villager AI and add shelves!!! Like a chest that you can see the items that it holds. Like a display case. I don't know. But that would be great for a store!

I know this has been said before, but an Aether like dimension, instead of just the Nether and End. Or somehow update the Aether mod from 1.7.3 to 1.4.2 :/

They should add some ocean creatures! Like dolphins and sharks... and maybe a hydra boss. That would rule.

i hear they're adding Dual-Weilding and coloured glass, but what i would really like to see is a boss mob for the Overworld, as we have the Ender and Nether bosses already

The new rendering system, so we can have colored lights in time for the holidays.
Also, you know, no black spots and directional lighting and all that stuff.

They should work more on the adventure mode, and finish the custumization options

I personally don't want Jeb to add much, because the latest update was actually quite large compared to most.
I think it would be pretty cool to have a few more mobs, but hopefully not hostile just when you look at it. From where it is now it's pretty hard to survive in Hard/Hardcore Mode.

I think that new mobs for the snow biome would be cool, though I don't know about Polar Bears. They would have to be hostile, and like I said, I'd rather not have more dangerous mobs.

I really want to see holdable torches that light up, they really should've put that in the Beta, but...

There is so much they could add. Like I would want to see like more snow related mobs like Penguins. Polar bears.
Also i want them to upgrade npcs so they could give you quests to get materials and stuff so they can expand the village.

They will probably be adding technical stuff like modding API and redstone fixes + improvement. Among other things that might be christmas related.
