Hello PMC people!, i have a bit of a request/question/poll/whatever this would be. Well all i want to know is how the current average MC player likes his/her servers to be. As in do you like PVP or not ,survival or not, specific plugins, mods and such. I have owned several servers and I normally just get feedback from members now I want to know from everyone, what makes YOUR perfect server, and if i like the idea enough or alot of others do, It will be made into an actual dedicated server, since I do have an Idle server at the moment that needs a new direction, kinda hoping this thread is successful.

I dun exactly know what Id like on a server, but I know this: NPCs are awesome and adding loads of quests will give ye lotsa ppl goin there if you just put it in the description!

I had an idea earlier. Have a 15 slot server, and whitelist it. Make it so that to get in you must apply with a group of 3 (Those 3 are including you) And it is a hardcore PVP server with groups. 5 teams are allowed, so that makes it epic. I always wanted to do something like this.

I had the same idea for a faction based server, I like this idea, still need more though.

What I would like, is a normal, non-huge structure and crap like that, simple survival PVP server with a safe spawn and a way to turn on and off PVP.

Bettercraft offers all of this, believe it or not.
We have a fully functional Creative area, accessible through a few commands.
In the main world, where it is survival based, everyone gets a limited number of chest protections with which to hide their most precious of materials.
There are no kill limits, you don't need a reason. You just sit and wait for someone to be vulnerable, and then you kill them.

My ideal server is PVP, plenty of people, and no ridiculous chest, block, or land protection plugins. I hate when a server bills itself as PVP and you can't steal or raid people's homes.

I would like a small connected server with whitlist, so no random person appears! Bukkit, towny, and bigbrother, iconomy,Jobs, etc. It would be a rpg/town build. And there would be elaborate quest set up! Then again, you could be a hermit living in the forest! Needs backups for grifers, and tnt accidents. And some other stuff ill mention after i see other ppl post!

a awesome server would be one with jobs plugin and iconomy thats the best plugin not matter wat
