What do you think of the Mega Portals?

Hi Everyone!! IGF here.
So, as you may know, Mojang added 'Mega Portals'. Basically, these are Nether Portals, but can be 23*23 if I'm correct.
I like this new addition, though I do not like that Ghasts can come through.
So what do YOU think of them?
