Why isn't mojang adding mo creatures?
I am just curious, why are there cool mods like mo creatures, but the same lame boring monsters in regular minecraft. Why won't mojang add Mo Creatures ! we need Mo!
Thoughts?

Because Mo' Creature's is a highly overrated mod that crowds the game world with so many different animals that everything looks messy. I tried the mod once or twice, seeing dragons, snakes, beetles, butterflies, gorillas, etc. roaming the desert removed any sort of realistic survival feel the vanilla game had.
When it's hard to see 30 feet ahead of your character because there's so many animals in your way it gets really irritating and laggy.

yeah i dont think sponge has those very awesome plugins that spigot has.

Interesting. Does Sponge have a website for their plugins / are any public ?
1
yeah. Well sadly it is very hard to get plugin compatibility with these mods.
Like taming these new creatures with a pet plugin or creating a super mo creature boss with a boss plugin.

Thats only an issue with Bukkit/Spigot. Using something like Sponge, that's easy to do.

Don't get me wrong, Mo' Creatures is a fine mod. However, vanilla Minecraft would feel noticeably different with it (and not necessarily in a good way).
Minecraft's developers could probably expand the number of creatures ten-fold, but would they want to? Adding all that in at once would make the game crowded and less friendly for newcomers.
Interestingly, the horses added to Minecraft in 1.6 were actually based on the horses in Mo' Creatures.
Ultimately, if people truly think that vanilla Minecraft is boring or tame, they can download any one of the countless mods out there that adds anything from creatures to new blocks and weapons.

id say its cos its easyer to let the modders do it than do it themselfs, as it is, from what i heard they hired the guy from mo creatures to implement the horses for them

I think that they aren't, because they want to keep the same feel as the original game. They don't want vanilla to feel like a bunch of stuff packed into the game, which is how many mods make the game feel. (Not that there is anything wrong with that, just Mojang doesn't want the game to have the feel)
