I don't really find it challenging, just... time consuming.

I'm more of a "build your kingdom" person so, killing the enderdragon would be horrible for me and plus, what do you get out of it? 20 xp levels? that is easily acquired. I suppose it's the self fulfillment but then, I wouldn't know since I have never done it. I don't like thinking games have ends.. Just like I don't like reading the last page of a book.

Not very hard to kill it, hard to get to it. You go through more trouble to find the thing than the trouble is actually worth.

It's not really a challenge if you know what to do. The only real Challenge when your fighting the Enderdragon is those dang Enderman. They can get really annoying when you are Concentrating on the Enderdragon.

RoxthesoxIt's not a challenge really, it's just a bit tedious is all. First you got to get rid of the tower's crystals, then you need to look out for the crowds of enderfriends, then you got to wait for it to swoop down to bite you etc. etc.
I'd rather the mob's AI was improved to make dealing with it combat wise was actually harder than hitting it when it got close, and letting your diamond armour soak up the damage.

Theoretically, it is possible to beat the enderdragon with nothing but a pumpkin, a bow (and a lot of arrows) and a pickaxe. the pumpkin will keep you safe from endermen, the bow will shoot the Large enderpearls and the enderdragon, and the pickaxe will get you endstone to get up the higher towers. I once did it with a bit more than that, Iron armor, stone sword and a bow with 3 stacks of arrows. but that took me half an hour to kill it.

I took 2 hours out of my day to get a bow with infinity enchantment, Diamond armor and then beat it with my fist

I think I will install Flan 's mod, take a LMG guns pack, and shoot the dragon to dead XD

For me, The Ender Dragon is not really hard to fight: I just have trouble locating the stronghold :/... Basically, my strategy is to wear a pumpkin on my head, and use snowballs for ammo (snowballs do the same amount of damage as arrows), and use minecarts with chests for storage, (the dragon cannot destroy minecarts with chests) and have enchanted diamond armour and a good diamond sword. I also create some snow golems for their snow. I first destroy all the Ender Crystals, and then I focus on the dragon.

i never know how to use swords on enderdragons,the most effective and efficient way is to use a bow with "infinity" enchantment
(note that you can use wither to defeat the enderdragon,but i don't recommend this because the wither will attack you too)

When you use the wither, the wither will focus on endermen, and will not get to the dragon. (I tried it out on a test world , and it didn't work

killing it needs time because of its health, but you cant die because of a dragon, right tools for me: at least 10 snow golems (very effective for endermans), full diamond armor, enchanted bow, 64 arrow, a sword, 64 block and 5-10 god apple

It depends if you have the right tools, and if you know what you are doing.
For me, I think it was pretty easy. Nothing impossible, but takes a bit of effort and time

Dude if Tobuscus can do it with mods, I'm pretty sure everyone can do it in Vanilla.

i don't really like mods,i never use it,but i used vanilla only when i am playing on certain servers.
