Since I've bought Minecraft, I can't find a server that suits my needs. The server I want basically is the same criteria as MindCrack:
Nice community
No mods
Allows Optifine
No PVP(well... not centered around PVP)
No opped users(other then the creator, and only for greifing, etc)
*basically Single player with several people
Whitelisted isn't a problem
If you know of a server that fits this description, I'd appreciate it.
I've tried "Damn near vanilla", and it didn't go so well.
There was another that I tried, and my friends ended up getting banned for no reason

Doesn't help. They should not have plugins. You report stuff like greifing, etc.

So you basically want a small private white listed server with 0 plugins and invitation by friend only.
If not you will have 1 random kid fly around causing chaos while no OPs (admins don't exist without permissions) are online to ban them.
I wish you good luck finding that, suggest you head over to MinecraftForums instead as the community there is a bit different from here.

Even if its vanilla it will need some basic plugins to protect itself from chaos.
1. NoCheatPlus
2. Worldguard
Prevents cheaters and the destruction of the spawn area.
