Intro
From the ashes of many successful past Australian minecraft servers comes a new adventure under the name of AusFacs! Over many years i and many others have been part of a group of old friends who make servers very successfully and we have all types of specialisation. We are planning this server to be our biggest ever and we are hiring a fair amount of moderators admins and builders. I will include a list of requirements and how to apply for each position and a little bit about each. We currently have a server up and running with 24gb of ram and many many plugins but we have no spawn or claim areas set up so theres a little bit of work for the new staff to enjoy.
Our staff selection process will be fairly strenuous because we are very serious about these things and we want the best staff we can have. Being staff on our servers will be a very prestigious position and will help you for future applications.
If we are feeling your application and we think you are a very suitable candidate we may begin you at normal moderator or senior moderator depending on lots of factors. I will keep an eye on this thread for applications and hopefully the public wont be waiting for long. As for builder i am not fully deciding builders as old mate Head Builder Scrin445 is going to be handling that i can still talk to you and get you in the right place.
Current staff ranks
A run down of the current staff ranking system and how trusted you are at each
Trial mod - You are above the normal player and can mute, kick, ban and fly. Basic things
Moderator - Similar to mod but more respect and trustworthiness
Senior moderator - Manages the moderators and has access to low level pex commands
Admin - Can spawn things, cool red name, flyspeed, mabye disguise, very trusted
Senior admin - Basically has the same permissions as me in discord but in game you can do many different things
Manager - Me (you can't get this <3)
Owner - Can do anything
Current staff (to be expanded)
Harvse, Star - Owner
Jovials - Manager
Scrin445 - Head builder

A little bit about our server, we are a small bunch of guys who are looking for a big serious project and we are hoping all of you can help us out by playing. We have custom plugins but i cannot name them specifically because i don't remember and it's a surprise. Think of the regular factions recipe with some added sparkle. We will have a donation shop but it will be minor advantages and ranks and will not be pay to play.
We are planning to have a large friendly staff team and a big player base with a nice community. In the past we have been very successful in towny and prison servers and we wanted to try factions. I am prepared to accept many applications and i am prepared to do some interviews tonight i'm not busy (Tonight as in the 2nd). I hope to get many applications. If you are not accepted do not be discouraged we will keep applications open all the time and look to them when we need staff.
If you want to apply or have any questions, post them here and join the discord i'll be sitting around in one of the channels probably. If you do apply join discord so i can talk to you and get a feel of who you are and we're excited to see all the types of people we can come up with. I myself is Australian born but my last name is 16 letters long so we will not discriminate against anyone racially or any other type :)

When would the server be online to the public?
We are expecting it to be fairly soon as we have just acquired a map and we are almost finished with the custom plugins, we just need a few more staff members. :)
