Inviting mature and friendly players to join Empathy, a Minecraft server established in February, 2014.

The Empathy server has come a long way in four years, and you are invited to discover its many unique aspects and to contribute in your own creative way.
Empathy has two main Survival worlds, Survival and Atlas, which share inventory. Pick which one you want to play on, or choose to play skyblock on Sanctuary, creative on Plotworld, or minigames on the Minigames worlds.
We have amazing and impressive towns and server builds, some in progress that you can help build by just offering to help out or by taking jobs from the server owner, town owners, or Project Facilitators. Empathy provides generous claims (200K maximum), the opportunity to have your bigger projects admin claimed so you can use your claims for other projects, as well as the ability to set 25 homes, travel easily by warp, teleport, and flying with the use of cobblestone for fuel.
We have quests, a school, EMA - Empathy Minecraft Academy, with lots of actual educational content, and unique plugins. If you like to do more than build there are a lot of opportunities on Empathy. You can help write quests with the easy-to-learn and use Quester plugin, you are encouraged to teach your own EMA classes, and to design Minigames, redstone, or command block commands for purposes that interest you or that help the server with established and planned projects.
The Empathy community is the best! Members are friendly, kind, accepting, and mature. Some play regularly, some sporadically, some players also hang out on discord and participate on the forum. Players play alone or collaborate on projects. We have no drama, we welcome people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds, as long as they are respectful to others. Empathy is a place where you can implement your project, whether it's unique or creative or you just want to build another castle. We will work with you over time and support you with whatever needs you have that are reasonable.
Many players on Empathy are older, in their 30’s, 40’s, and beyond, but we do have quite a few well-behaved teenagers and players in their 20’s. We particularly want to recruit other mature and friendly players who are patient, loyal, and have good social skills. While there is a lot of opportunity for players to develop on the server and contribute in many different ways, we are also looking to recruit players who understand that security is paramount, who are willing to put in the time and effort to built positive relationships and establish trust, and who are not impulsive and/or ask for fast promotions, OP permissions, special favors, etc. While you can projects where you have more responsibility and reach ranks that give you more permissions, these need to be earned over time with positive investment in the server. We look forward to having you join us, to continue our Minecraft journey together, and to play with and learn from each other.

We hope to upgrade the server to 1.12.2 over the next few weeks, however, you are invited to join us now! We are looking for ideas for a new game mode/map to replace Factions, so come provide your requests and we might just install what you want.

I was told to use the "same thread" to advertise the server, so, instead of just writing *bump* or new text, I am going to post screenshots most of the time from the server in replies. I hope you enjoy!
