How do Servers have lots of players even tho they are pretty new.

Hello.
So I have a Server called MultiMax.
It currently has 3 players that play active.
I really want at least 10 player online at one time,
As I spent a lot of time creating it :)
I just don't know what to do!
I see Servers that are just 5 months old but have 50 players at a time.
How do they do it?

I believe the number 1 way to getting your server big is voting. Get your users to vote and give them a reward, the higher the votes the more people see it and you can vote once a day, just give yourself a year of voting every day and you'll be a 365 and your server will be big.

Mostly through advertising and adjusting their server based on the community's desire. That and uniqueness. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to choose a server identical to like 15 others. If you want to give your server a chance, look into advertising. Chances are though, the community will judge it hard, especially if it's generic.
