Lavender is based around roles, a dynamic economy, towns, quests and more. We are looking for players who enjoys casual survival, semi-advanced economy and building awesome stuff!
Roles
When you join the server you will have to work your way towards purchasing a role. Each role has different perks and are able to progress and rank up to gain even more perks. Perks can be used for convenience, fun or to profit. Most importantly, the roles are designed such to enforce teamwork and strengthen the community.
Specializes in building advanced mechanics, gathering materials, crafting special blocks, and founding towns. This includes creating elevators, fast crafting, item mailboxes and much more.
Set up shops and casinos to profit from other players. As a Trader you need to keep a constant eye on the fluctuating economy to keep your earnings high! Can create chest shops, slot machines and more.
Infused with experimental powers, Warpers have the ability to bend space and time. This includes teleporting to other players, warp jumping, produce special enchants and more.
Economy
To dictate the worth of items we have a dynamic server shop where players can buy/sell items. The more stock the shop gets, the more an items price will drop. This encourages player trading, but also allows another option and a way of making money.
We don't have any in-game donation perks, and such there are no 'pay-to-win' options. This is both to follow the Minecraft terms of use, but also because we simply don't think it's fun to reward in-game benefits for real money.
Building/destruction rules:
No griefing or destroying of other players structures without permission
No looting or stealing from other players containers without permission
No building near other players structures without permission
No building of giant structures using only one type of block (cobble boxes etc.)
Your builds should reflect quality and look pretty
Chat rules:
No harrasing of other players
No profanity in general chat
No player beef/drama in general chat
No spamming in any chat
No advertising of non-server related stuff
Don't pester the admins/mods
No feature suggestions in chat, post in on the forums
General rules:
No cheating of any kind
No use of unapproved mods (see forums for list)
No asking for OP, Ranks or Items
No abusing of exploits or bugs
If you find an exploit or a bug, report it to the staff immediately
Multiple accounts per player is not allowed
No full-afk farms. Semi-afk farms where you press a button is allowed
No afk-pools/machines etc. to prevent auto-afk

The two trader perks Gamble Signs and Roll Signs got some love today!
You can now toggle offline gambling (meaning players can use your signs while you are offline) by typing /togglegambling. The command will turn the option on/off, so you can easily decide if you wanna get rich (or go broke) while being offline

To support these changes, /rewards will now only grant you 1 key (the best one), and ofc the usual amount of Bedrock.

A brand new system has been implemented!
You can now earn Flux Dust, simply for being online. The first few hours per day will grant the most Flux Dust, so no need to worry about being online 24/7.
Use /flux ingame to check your Flux Dust.
You will receive Flux Dust every 10 minutes of being online.

The second hour will grant you 100 Flux Dust.
The third hour will grant you 50 Flux Dust.

The trader shops list has gotten some love. It's now easier than ever to browse all the Trader Shops in a chest UI.
Traders can customize their shops name and description, and even use color codes like &a (will return a green color, check google for all color codes). Traders can also set a custom item to use as their display object in the shops UI.
Simply clicking a shop will teleport you there for the low cost of 5 redstone dust

E.C.O. is offering access to a big international market, with rotating listings every week!

Earlier today, the Lavender Police Department reported that they discovered an illegal shop located right below the trader hub. The shop was run by a smelly old dude who has been arrested.
More clues are suggesting that several high status citizens have been doing illegal trades at the shop, reffered to by the shoppers as "The Black Market". Further investigation is in process.

James is letting any rank 3+ player deposit money into his vault, to later be used on your next rankup. There's a one-off tax on all deposits by 10%, however any deposits will be safe from the daily server tax. You can deposit as much money as the cost of your next rankup. You cannot withdraw any of your deposited money, but instead they will be subtracted from your next rankup cost.

We've added a lot of new items to the Black Market!
The Black Market will now also contain a lot more items per week, but will still randomly select which items to trade every week.
The Server Shop pricecheck perk has been moved to Trader Rank 3, and a new perk; Black Market pricecheck has been added to Trader Rank 4.

This is just a heads up that the first Lavender Lot auction will be up at the start of January.
As long as there are only a few Constructors with the Realtor perk (R4), everyone is allowed to bideveryone is allowed to bid on the lot.
Constructors with the Realtor perk (R4) will however get a 25% discount on their winning bid to compensate.

I've added a Key Scrambler to the loot crate room.
Place in at least 5 keys and pay $100 to use it.
If you place in at least 2-3 of the same lower tier keys, chances are they will upgrade to a higher rank key. You can place any type and amount of keys in it and experiment with the results.
But be careful, the scrambler is random. There's a low chance that it might eat up an extra key, or grant you a bonus key! :)

There are 3 dailyquests in total, that each resets on a 3 day timer. This means you can do a daily quest every day, or let a total of 3 stack up, in case you are unable to get online a few days

We've been discussing the mending enchant, and have come to the conclusion that it's a bit too OP for the server and economy. Therefore, the enchant has been disabled for now.
However, repair and salvage has been buffed, allowing you to level it faster and get perks a lot faster than before. This way, you can keep your enchanted items instead of losing them when they break, as an alternative to mending.
You need to shift-click iron/gold-blocks now to repair.

I've been working all morning on optimizing the server, so we should now experience a lot less blocklag etc.

The 4 old Mob Arenas are now back in rotation. When enough players are online they will randomly open. PvP World is back, you can find the entry near spawn. But beware! Griefing and stealing IS ALLOWED in PvP World!

The Auction House is back in the server shop!
You can auction a max of 2 items at the same time. Higher rank Traders can have more auctions running at once.
Auctions run for 48 hours. As of now, there are no tax/cut on the auctions, but that might change in the future.
