Gahd, you guys are being silly. Thezi's was a bit simpler than I'd like for the palette he was given, feel he could've used the high contrast to make a much more metallic tone. XDInsanity's could use some refinement in the design to make his lower torso appear smaller and his chest appear large, simulating the height he was looking for.
I'm gonna go with XDInsanity for trying to maintain a little bit of detail without making a messy skin. You played it too safe, Thezi. 8C

XDinsanity's needs more hairy babies.
In all seriousness though Thezi's is really simplistic. I understand that the palette is very limited, and he creates his skins in a very simplistic way, but even then it's a very large palette with many shades to work with and an awful lot of details in Doom Guy's outfit that he missed.

Insanity did much better for using a palette.
Thezi's seems almost too simple, and is missing some major details from the Doom character.

WTFshadyThe 1.8 layers are needed to add depth to the suit. You should make the same character with the same palette and try to use the 1.8 layers better if you want to judge them.XDInsanity

XDInsanity did a better job in my opinion. Also, I don't know why there's a hate for his use of the 1.8 layers. They look good to me.

Yes, but let's not forget the fact that in your skin the 3D parts look like big red bubbles. No 3D parts > 3D bubble-looking parts. If you don't make 3D look good, better remove it.

I think it looks like it is shiny. He isn't a robot. That is armor the main character put on him. Please do your research. Also, I think he made him look giant.

detailed is still very good, but with limited colors like a palette, cleaner looks better in most people opinions so they vote for the cleaner skin
