I got this error when trying to load into a single player world or server. I was using a custom modpack that I made. The game did not crash it just said the error then went back to the main menu or back to the server list.

it was the old world so i delete the old world

Provide your logs for this and as Felawnie states, share your current mods with us

Might help the people who know how to mod if you listed what mods are in the pack? Maybe they could spot a problem then.
