I can't get the installer to work, everytime I put "next" it's unresponding.

A good recorder is ezvid as it has no watermark, it has an editor, and unlimited record time (where RAM will allow )

Yup, I have Ezvid. Thing is, I don't have the latest version. And which then. You didn't have to donate. D:

and it ALWAYS have its own introduction in YOUR videos, which is badly annoying.

I use microsoft expression encoder 4, the down side is the free version only can record 10 minutes per session, and it exports into it's own unique video format, which you will have to encode to get a .wmv
EDIT: In my expierience, you can directly upload the un-encoded video file, but If you want to edit it, you will more than likely have to encode it

WHUT...lol
But, really, 10 mins is good unless I am doing something large. It takes too long for it to upload and stuff on YouTube.

If you want fraps you can try looking at this link @ -no-

It would probably be worth investing in fraps for screen recording and xsplit for streaming. I know it is expensive, however it makes your videos more desirable and competitive to other big youtubers and streamers if the quality is good.

Thanks
P.S for everybody who is suggesting me fraps, I already have fraps, it takes up way too much space.

you should use screencast its a very good recording program i use that records for 15 min strait

If you have mac I would recommend ScreenFlow!

If you can afford a capture card, I'd get the hd pvr 2. It has twitch streaming built in and you can record with no frames lost.
1
If it's just local recording and you're not livestreaming. Fraps is a very good application and will suit your needs perfectly. Also, if you have a nVidia graphics card, you have free access to nVidia Shadowplay, which works just as well as Fraps.
Good luck with your endeavors!
