Good for building annoying when netherite mining

Too much reds and blues in it. It looks almost purple/black next to other dark blocks. I wish it was a tad more neutral like netherite block.

Some Types of Blackstone are Good for Building and Some are Not

Honestly it depends entirely on the builder, how they use it and what it's paired with in a palette. Any block can look good or bad if used in different ways, we'll just have to wait and see how people use Blackstone overall before we can make any actual judgements imo.

Blackstone is good for the community overall in my opinion, especially for the building side of the game. A new block like this one opens up the possibility of newer building variants.

blackstone is my favorite new nether block alongside warped planks.

Not to advertise, but blackstone in my pack is good for building in most dark, evil, or nether themed builds in my opinion, but blackstone with its normal texture by Jasper is only really good in labyrinths and ruined things like bastions since most types look a lot more like a dungeon crawler texture than a minecraft one.
