Datapacks, 100% . Mods are slow to load, slow to be updated.

I like datapack more. You just need to instal one file, but in modes you need forge orfabric, that need another mods.

If you know what ur talking about, Datapacks are not in jar files. it is a zip file containing multiple files. forge works times better

It think what he is saying its just more easy to install, you don't have to install forge or fabric which takes some time and can be frustrating and annoying, at least for me.

Breh I would do plugins not even mods or datapacks. But if i had to choose id choose mods because you can do alot more with them, like adding new biomes, new dimensions, new mobs, new textures for vanilla items (but resource packs can do that too), new food, new plants, new blocks, and new tools and armor.

It depends. Datapacks are used to enhance the game, while mods are used to give you a whole different experience.

I like mods better because they can add stuff to the game. Like 1.18-1.19. We can make a mod to simulate what that will be like!

Defense: I like Datapacks better because they work with the vanilla version of the game, you don't have to download a loader for it to work.

You dont need a "loading" for them to work. you just need the proper edition.
