I've had a lot of fun with the other two contests. So what's say we get a December contest happening?
But of course, we'd need suggestions.

It probably won't offend many people, as Carole said we could call it something different.
Christmas Isn't completely about Christian things anyway; Apparently Jesus was born in the summer, they just chose to celebrate it at the 25th because there was already some kind of mid-winter festival thingy there anyway.

How about a Christmas Tree building contest?
I agree that a christmas skin contest would be kind of a good idea but I think too many people will submit all the same type of things, like the skins page is gonna be FULL of santa's but I think medieval would be better because theres more skins to create and it wont all be kings, they'll be alot more skins

However why not masquerade skins? Its a very unique theme and i can assure you not one person has made a skin on.
Medieval would be a terrible idea because it would just be 1000 knight skins and we have waaaaay too many of those. I know people said that about steampunk, but it wasn't really the case.

Have you ever thought that I might be Jewish? Maybe more than a quarter of the people on PMC are Jewish. People would get angry if you did a Christmas Contest, and excluded all other religious beliefs.

Quite honestly, I'm with Ben Stein on this one (He is also Jewish) ... I'm fairly certain that Jews do NOT get upset by being wished Merry Christmas. I don't get upset by it and I'm not Christian. I put up a Christmas tree, not a Yule tree. Santa visits our house and fills our stockings, although he's a couple days early here. If you must be 100% politically correct, call it a Winter Holiday contest, but I think political correctness is ruining society. Christmas is Christmas, and I'm happy when people wish me a Merry one... nobody has EVER gotten mad at me for wishing them a Blessed Yule, and I think it's cool when I'm wished a Happy Hanukkah, even though I don't know the first thing about celebrating it. (If I did, I'd totally celebrate it too!) Kwanzaa is another celebration I'd love to learn more about. But this is a major digression... sorry... it's one of my personal pet peeves, people getting annoyed by being given good tidings. How dumb.
You do have a point, and thankyou for replying to this post. I know of people who have plenty of different beliefs than I, and they don't care if I wish them a Merry Christmas. I mean, Aethiests don't get annoyed when you wish them a Merry Christmas, etc. etc.

I suppose, but you don't have to exclude everyone, how about a holiday season contest that encompasses all religions and beliefs?
But i was thinking more along the lines of snowmen, santa, reindeer, elves, gingerbread men etc Rather than anything religious as santa etc isn't really a religious thing, it's like the tooth fairy or vunter slaush

well for midevil people are just going to reuse their old night skins and delete the old ones.
just go with the Medieval one at least its not too obvious.

I just think a Christmas themed skin contest is too specific, not really much room for originality. But I'm going with Medieval anyway lol.

I was gonna ask the same question myself. Christmas is a pretty obvious one. I have already made my Christmas skin.
Well I'm assuming we don't need anymore Santa skins. Even if other christmas-like skins are encouraged there will be a storm of low quality Santa skins lol. "Assuming."
