Giant Boat bow

Hey guys and gals! I had a quick question for you and wanted your input! I am building a large ship (aircraft carrier) and I am having difficulty getting the bow (front) shaped correctly from the waterline up. Does anyone have any ideas, hints, tips, or examples? Thanks for your help!

are you adverse to using mods? kaevator super slopes would help shape the bow, and it IS available as a plugin for bukkit if you want to feature your battleship on a server.
