GIF Profile pictures not working?

It makes them a still image when i upload it as my profile picture but its suppose to move, as it is a GIF. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

this is what I did so first you find a .GIF

click "save" and make sure that it is saved as a .GIF as I believe that will solve it
