Clearing the cache for a single page can be cleared using ctrl+f5, however I don't believe the cache is the issue here. And Java isn't even relative.

@OP, is it always a white screen, do you ever get an error page? On these white screens, if you open the dev console, what is there (right click -> inspect element).
