How to come up with a good username?

So my older sister is finally getting Minecraft, but she can't come up with a good username. What is in your opinion the key component(s) to come up with a good username? Any good tips?

Try to morph your name into something EX.Rachel>Ray>StingRay>StingRayFTW.

This is kinda funny, but useful.
I got my username by spelling my last name backwards and switching around a couple of letters so it was easier to spell and pronounce.
Try doing the same! Or pick any word you want and do it.
Of course, this is just one way of picking a name...there's many others. But i thought I'd just share it since very few people think to try it!
Also, one word of advice with usernames: avoid numbers if possible. Your name will look a whole lot better if it's just a word(s) instead of words with numbers. For example, "Ackirb" is a lot better than "ackirb8492"

use something you identify with strongly enough that you'll never get tired of being called that name. ponder your personal interests. if you have a nickname you will never outgrow, try that. animals were previously mentioned - got a favorite that you'll always think of?
above all, don't use something hard to type. xXxToo73G1T2Qu1TxXx will make logging into things difficult and everyone will think you're a useless scrub. xD

Heres what I think. Go onto Tumblr.com and go to singup. Dont actuallly signup tho. Go where it says username. It will give u creative examples for a tumblr usernam, and choose one she likes, or mix, match, and modify!

I was never good with making usernames until I read homestuck. Here is a simple way to get a not-stupid quick username!
1. Think of an adjective. (Or something to describe what you're gonna label next.
2. Think of an animal/thing. (Base it off interests.)
3. Put them in a name format like this
adjectiveThing
Examples:
availableBison
purpleToaster
fatPillow

Come up with 2 words, one of your favorites. Mix the letters, and put it together, mix them until you have found a username you liked, for instance: Red and Yog (I don't know where Yog came from don't ask.) put it together, RedYog.
