Image and GIF help!

Hi I have been trying to post GIF and Images on descriptions and stuff, but they always come out as the little "unavailable image" Icon. How do I fix this?

I keep doing that but the little icon still comes up

There should be an image-thing when making a submission or editing your profile description. Copy / pasting the picture's URL should work.
Tip: Although you didn't ask this, copying the picture, (Not the URL) and then pasting it in a comment, posting, then editing the comment by pasting the picture again, makes a picture show up in comments.

Not for sigs, for like descriptions on submissions and my profile description.
