Mod not working

So I just installed the Portal Gun mod (made sure it is 1.2.5).
It does show up on the mods list on the main menu.
The only problem is I can't craft anything from it.
Please help.

Do you have Forge and AudioMod?(AudioMod is just for sounds and I think it should actually crash without Forge...)
