I don't know where to make the mod textures or where to publish them or go something like that, I don't know if this is the right place to post this but it says general help so, if anyone knows how please let me know I really wanna mod it looks really fun and I could get some PMC experience while doing it, please help me though!!

MMM_MasterMI'd rather recommend learning to code Java in Eclipse (free on http://www.eclipse.org) and work with forge instead of using notepad and mcp.
Wuppy's tutorials should be a good source.

The only problem with using any IDE, is that they do some stuff for you, and if a beginner uses that, they will not know why it did that.

Personally from experience, you should never just get right into modding. Start off with learning java in its basic form, understand how it works, and then modding will be a lot easier to understand.

There is no programs you need to buy, just download Notepad++, or just use regular notepad, Get MCP. Then the JDK libraries, and you should be good.

I'm no modding expert, but I believe there are programs out there to help make mods - most of the time you need to write the code yourself though. That's all I know << sorry if this didn't help!
