So I've seen trying to make a parkour for some time now and the only things I'm having trouble with is making a void appear at the bottom so if you fall you re-spawn at the check point... and how do you make a check point. Can some one please help me.

I'd recommend using a local server, with bukkit and worldedit, it will make your building go MUCH more faster.

My reccomendation is to just use lava under the place where the parkour is cause the only way to have a void is to dig all the way down to "the void"
Unless you're building it on a standard superflat map, in which case, just dig 4 blocks down and have them fall in it

Make a command block with the command /Spawnpoint @p (co-ord's for checkpoint)
and then make a button/lever/pressure plate that will get a redstone signal to the command block so it can set the spawnpoint,

To test it out, use /kill
And to get the command block do /give Username 137

Its on singleplayer but I want a void at the bottom of the map incase you fall off you re spawn at the check point ..

I can help, but do you have a server or is it on singleplayer. If you have a server, i'll be happy to build it for you, and if you're on singleplayer i'll try and guide you through it
