Can you post status updates to your subscribers? Like I want to tell my subscribers what my working on and what kind of map is coming out next. If this doesn't exist. Do you think this feature should be added?

You could always link a Twitter account to your PMC account. That's an excellent way to post announcements. Currently, the only other way to post announcements is in the forum, since posting announcements as submissions isn't allowed.
