So like, I'm getting random advertisements on my browser on every page i visit. And i have adblock installed and running.
Does anyone know how to check what's making these ads appear?
Edit: Fixed, went and disabled all extensions and re-enabled one by one for troubleshooting.
Apparently it was the Twitch Stream extension giving me ads.

Try installing Do Not Disturb. (And keep AdBlock+)
And like DaAwesomePwner said: http://techcrunch.com/2013/07/06/google ... ds-anyway/
There have been more recent reports on it but TechCrunch is were I initially saw/heard about it.

It's not a smartphone issue. It's on my browser. On Chrome and all my other browsers as well.

Derp. LOL. Woops.
But im kinda thinking it's a program that's running it, bypassing blocks.

Some ads are made to actually bypass Adblock's default filter of ads and such - if you want to make sure you don't see them again, right click the ad, and click the thing that says something like "Add to Adblock filter..." or something.

Preview looks good, but when i finish the process of blocking it, it reappears.
It's only been happening since last night I believe...
And I've tried undoing everything i did.

Guys, enough with the don't use adblock.
I don't use adblock on certain websites.
Yes, there's a feature to control that.
Can we stay on topic here and answer my question?

Epicballzy+PixelPirate+ProfessorPines:geek: If adblock is their only source of income for a website, then they shouldn't have a website
This doesn't make sense... Why doesn't it make sense?
I'm assuming you mean Adsense, so I'll reply. How else would you make money?
The only ways to make money on the internet are selling things and showing advertisements, so of course the only source of income is going to be ads (for a normal website). Please do your research before responding to things you don't know about.
I think what ProfessorPines means, is that if it's their ONLY income, then they shouldn't have a website... (They don't have a job, or some other way of earning money rather than ads)
Okay. It's kind of unrelated if that's what he meant, considering we're talking about removing ads, not that. And the way he worded it... "If adblock is their only source of income for a website..."
That implies that it's the only way they make money on that website... I dunno. I'm probably wrong. I usually am.

What is wrong with that? Some people make livings off of that. Who are you to judge, tell me?

What do the ads say they're from?

Don't use adblock? It takes away profit from people who own websites.

Sucks for them
Woody, you didn't help at all. Read the OP. Derp.
@OP, try using a different browser, or reinstalling your current one and resetting Adblock. I don't know if this will help. It will also help if you said what websites the ads were coming up from.
