Texture Pack: Grass Problems

So yesterday I decided to make a texture pack. Unfortunately, when I changed the color of the sides of the grass, and went ingame, parts of the old grass showed through. Let me share an example..
Swamp biome grass will bleed through for about three blocks down.

You have to make sure to color this guy right here
It's black and white, so it throws people off, but that needs to be edited or else the texture stays the same in that area
