I feel that something should be done about all of the stolen and remixed skins that are constantly uploaded to this site. Seeing as it's just too exhaustive to report all of them, might I suggest that PMC implement some type of algorithm that will determine if a skin that someone is attempting to upload is identical or nearly identical to one already on the site, and will prevent the person from uploading the skin if the aforementioned condition is found to be true.

Even as such, part-picked skins are a huge thing and would easily get past the filter. We do need some algorithms in-place to detect exact dupes, though.

A substantial number of them don't edit the skin whatsoever. Besides, this isn't intended to act as a replacement for reporting; rather, it's meant to reduce the volume of stolen skins so that people aren't required to waste their time reporting, say, Steve skins.

People would just edit them enough to get past the filter.
