I've tried everything from lowering my settings to using an iphone charger and i still can't get rid of that damn static! The people i skype with also hear this just much worse

How's your condition of the headset?
If you've had it for a long time and haven't been taking care of the wires from it being constantly tangled; that may be the problem.

But im not even recording anything the only way i found a fix FOR ME was to reduce the volume on my end but i still get very bad static when skyping

Does your case have different colour for the ports? I know mine does, I'm pretty sure green is headphones and pink microphone.

Anyway, I have no idea how to help... because some reason I cant hear sound in my turtle beach headphones anymore and they sometimes burn my head off

I had the same problem. I connected the power to the wall using my phone charger without the usb part attached. I think the problem is some interference with the mic/sound plugs and the power part. Sorry if you already tried this, it fixed it for me.
