Ok there should be an "video and image" tab or something like that when you click to upload a project
OR to put a pic in the description you can upload an image to imgur.com and copy the URL for the picture. With the URL click the little 'mountain with valley' icon that should be around near the fonts. Paste in the URL and insert the image

Not really that much of a noob question.
Go into Projects
Then into Post Your Project
Write a description, title, put a download link etc.
And if you want screenshots, go into Images and Video, to add an image click upload file, and to add a video just copy paste the link to the video on YT.
