1.12.2 because it's the version 2b2t, Constantiam, and Mineplex is on.

For 1.12.2 there are many mods but what mojang did in 1.14 is great (apart the lags)

2b2t and other anarchy servers will never support 1.13+ thanks to the 6+ TB world and other stuff.

1.14 is a great update that adds a heap of new and awesome things, however from a server owners perspective. it was definitely poorly executed.
