This is a thread to vent your anger about how long the Mystery in the Mansion contest judging is taking! Its taken over 2 weeks and still some judges haven't even started! Why do you think it's taking so long? If you are a judge, then please tell me and the other contestants.

Stressing judges out like this won't help. Usually, my personal style is for every complain I get, I extend my judging time by a week.

I think that would stress the judges out even more and their reviews probably wouldn’t be as thorough as they ought to be. Trust me, I would much rather be judging the contest, but life hasn’t been cutting me any slack recently. I must apologize for the delay, but I’m sure it will be well-worth the wait.

Our judges are volunteers and this is a busy time of year. It'll be done when all the judges have properly reviewed the entries. I'd rather it take a long time than have inaccurate review scores because they didn't take the time necessary.

I apologize for the delay. There were a few bugs in getting all the entries, and many of the judges have been quite busy. I myself have exams to study for, a cold to get over, and a lot of work to make up. I am extremely sorry about the wait, but I will definitely be sure to finish my judging as soon as time allows.

not really, all of pmc is volunteer based, voluntary work is done when convenient to the volunteer
