Welcome all, to what I am going to call 'Just your Average Skin Contest'!

The premise is pretty simple, it is your average skinning competition, but with the theme of 'Eras'

The Theme is a completely original one and also one that I have not seen ever attempted before on PMC. (Don't hold me to that!) It allows for a very wide variety of skins and will all hopefully be unique and excellent!

For those of you who fell asleep during history class (and yes I mean you!) this theme is based on special historical events, and time periods! You can enter one skin into this competition, and it has to stick to this theme. Whether it is a Victorian doctor, or an old Japanese sumo wrestler. An Ancient Egyptian, or something with the Bubonic Plague. Or if it is someone from the future coming back to present day, the choice is yours, but it has to connect with some sort of history. A Back Story will gain you extra points, but is not an absolute necessity.

The skins will be judged as such:
Creativity and Originality of Skin (10 points)
Technique (10 points)
Effectiveness of End Result (10 points)
Connection to Theme and Back Story (10 points)

The entry period starts Today, 4th of August and will run for 14 days (two weeks) until the 18th of August.. Entries must be received by 12PM on the 22nd, or will not be counted. Judging will then commence and the results announced sometime through the week.

All are highly encouraged to enter: Skinners, Bloggers, Builders, Texturers, Modders, and Terraformers alike. And all will receive some sort of participation prize.

The standard PMC rules apply - no copying, no stealing, and no inappropriate skins please.
