Current Entries

Add some new features to the underwater world using your knowledge and creativity! This can be a new way to travel through water, tools for underwater, or maybe even new marine life!
You can enter by commenting on this forum with the link to the datapack.
RULES
1. Entries should be submitted by the deadline.
2. Submitting or updating a previously made datapack for the contest is not allowed.
3. Must fit the theme.
4. Must have at least a detailed description.
5. Must be functional.
6. Plagiarism/stealing will result in disqualification and you will not be allowed to participate in future events.
JUDGING
- Creativity/Originality
- Should work with little to no bug/glitches
- Should be enjoyable to play with
- Should be balanced and reasonable
- Having animations will grant extra points (using custom models and animating them, or animated textures)
PRIZES
1st/2nd - Trophy, custom Discord server rank, and fanart from me!
3rd - Trophy and a Discord rank!
Finalists will be mentioned in the video I will make for the results of the contests.
All qualifying participants will get a participation trophy

oh well, thats kinda sad
yea it'd be cool if bedrock was made the same way as java, that way datapacks might have existed for bedrock as well and the datapack community would be much larger

What do you think about a minigame? I've been needing to create a few for my private Minecraft server and this is a great opportunity. I'm thinking something along the lines of a (configurable) pack which allows you to set up and play a minigame involving spear-fishing or something, with functions added to place down fish spawners, mines, etc.
