What it is
In this contest you must take an NES Mega Man sprite and create a character with it in an image editor program like GIMP or MS Paint. Here is an example: http://www.spriters-resource.com/fullview/36582/ You can use any sprite from the NES Mega Man. Also, backstories and short .gif's are extra points!

3. Have Fun!

Its good, but two problems on that you could fix it 1) The yellow blends in too well with the skin on the face 2) The blue blends in WAY to well with the black background making it quite hard to see the shirt

I'm not trying to discourage you but that is the most unoriginal thing I EVER saw for a contest, you just took the megaman sprite and recolored him green! Go back and try harder than just recoloring the sprite and actually make it another videogame character!

Just post the sprite sheet from the Spriters Resource website. Also do you mean we have to use the NES palette? Or can we make our own palette and if wanted can we edit the template so we can add on more to our design? Thanks!

Your first photo is quite small, you should try finding a larger one so users can edit it easier. Also you might want to include you don't mean Minecraft pixel art, as I even thought you did. I'll be entering btw, this will be fun
