So I've been thinking lately about a cool community project I could start. I got to thinking, and then I came up with the idea that we could all create a texture pack! We could each take 1 or 2 tiles, or a series of tiles (Nether Tiles, Trees, etc.). When the pack is finished I'll post it here with the names and credit of EVERYONE who helped out, and what they helped out with.

So how can you help? Well, first off, this is going to be a 32x32 HD pack. Here's a default terrain.png enlarged to 32x32 that you can directly edit: (NOTE: Click on the picture before downloading it, or it will be the wrong dimensions)

Before you edit, though, just post here on this thread saying what tiles you'd like to do. I'll be revising this post with all the tiles people have taken, so that you'll know what's already being worked on and what's not. When you've posted and edited the tiles you want to do, just post your edited terrain32.png here, and I'll add your edited tiles to the main texture.

You don't need to be an amazing artist to do this, just do your best! This is a community creation that EVERYONE can be a part of. If you don't know HOW to make a texture pack, you just edit the tiles with a program such as paint.net (http://www.paint.net/) or GIMP. Photoshop is what I use, but that's not free.
