SpeedyBackstory:
A group of scientists studying Antarctica in our modern day world have just witnessed a bright light appear south of the research laboratory. The scientists left the lab to take a look, and discovered a darkly colored creature that no one has seen before.
Your challenge:
Here are your two options of is what the creature's head looks like:
I want to know what this thing is. Your job is to create what you think this creature looks like as a whole body, and you have an option of one or the other, I gave you two choices. You can keep the theme of the head or you can make the body completely different. You must give this guy a backstory to how the scientists stumbled upon this thing and how the creature got to Antarctica. I don't expect any super long story from you, but points will be taken off if you have none.

Rules:
1. Use your own colors, don't take mine I used in the example. If broken, the skin will be disqualified until you change the colors.
2. Submit your entry with a backstory. If broken, points will be taken off.
3. Don't break any PMC rules. If broken, you will be disqualified completely from re-entering the contest without further warning.
4. Have your submission ready for judging by the 31st of January, 2014. If broken, you and your skin will not be qualified.
5. Don't ask to be a judge, as I am the only judge. If broken, you will receive a warning and if it happens a second time you will be disqualified from entering.
6. Don't cheat in any other way. If broken, you and/or your skin may be disqualified.

Basically, we have to make a skin, using our own colors, based off the 2 pictures above.
With a back story and all that jazz..
So more or less, just make a skin based off the images?

Hmm, interesting. I might accept the challenge. The head must look like yours right? If it must, you can make it another color right? Still a little confused on this, I hope I get answers soon so I can start making the skin.

No, the skinning guidelines are completely ok with you basing your skin off another piece of art or something like that. You have to keep it one of the two colors.

Judging from the rules, you don't seem to like questions...but are these skins intended to have transparent bits in them? Cause I know transparency isn't supported in anything but the hat section.
