Are you against raising the physical height of the house, (i.e. setting it on a hill) or changing the exterior's colors? And how much expansion would you tolerate? I'm considering double-thickening the walls through expansion, knocking down some walls for more rooms, and maybe altering the exterior's form to a minor extent.
