the levels also make you unlock new ranks and when you reach level 20 you are allowed to use adlinks for your submission to make money of youre creatings

You gain experience points to level up whenever somebody interacts with your submissions. The only real purpose of levels is to just show how established you are on the website. Other than that, there really isn't much else to say about the level system.
