What if a hello was made of jello?
We'd be bouncing all over the place, for a start. Sweet raspberry greetings, strawberry salutations or zesty orange smiles would abound. Grapefruit when you're in a bad mood, lemon when you're a rush or lime when you want to take your time. People you don't like would get your least favorite flavor. It would be a few days old and starting to shrivel. If you're really happy to see someone you could mold your jello into a whimsical shape and add a little jiggle to express how good it is to see them.
As you can see, it would be a nonsensical nightmare and a living hell. Thank gawd, a hello is not jello, otherwise I'd be flinging it now, like a chimp in a zoo flings his...

Thanks to all of you. Typical of me to run with an idea that flashed into my mind as I pondered how to introduce myself. Since I'm a sucker for parody, I couldn't resist. Glad you all saw the humour in it. People who don't know how to laugh usually don't know how to be serious either.
