I think my first experiences were exploring the worlds and texture packs sections and collecting lots of cool maps to explore. Which I've been doing ever since, I love this site. :D

Well for me it was just the fact that right after I registered the warm welcomes started flowing in. Really a community vibe with lots of nice people always willing to help and even take the time to check your stuff out.
