I know i'm not popular to get this heard but HEAR ME OUT3d_rotation
You know we have PMCskin3D right? What if we had a modeller too.
I know external modelling software exists elsewhere but if we had one on here it would make modding so much easier.
So here's the idea:
You pick any one of the vanilla models that you can use in PMCSkin3D already, it comes with all the vanilla animations and you can change the shape of the existing cubes and add more onto them. Say you were making a lizard man for a jungle mod, you start with a basic player model with all the animations, then you grab the front of the head and pull it forward, one voxel layer at a time. The head turning animation still works as you haven't just removed the head. You want to add horns to the back, you click the 'add cube' button and add 2 small oblongs to the back of the head, you can lock the horns to the head so the animation goes over to the horns too.
You can export it to .java or .obj files and save the model to PMCSkin3d, where you can access the model in the texture editor.
Please PMC help me make this happen and make custom mods even easier to make

this.
I like PMCSkin3D the way they are.
i mean, its a good idea, but its like exactly what blockbench is
blockbench doesn't have the thing with animations staying the same even if you change the whereabouts of the part
Blockbench has animating doesn't it?
i think it does but i can't seem to get to it inside blockbench
You need to edit the toolbar to include "import animations"
o
A PMC Skin editor would be so cool! The best knew was the Wondercraft skin editor, but that worked with flash., and, you know...
we already have a skin editor :P
