What is a Therian?

A therian is someone who identifies as a non-human being, such as an animal, wolf, bear, or earthworm. Therians are a subcommunity of otherkin, which is a community of people who identify as mythical or fantasy-based beings. Theria is also a subclass of mammals that includes eutherians and metatherians, but not monotremes or extinct mammals.

Is a Furry and Therian the same thing?

Furry's and Therians are completely different, Furry's are cosplayers who choose to cosplay as their fur sona animal OC.
Therians are people who involuntarily non physically identify as animals. They don't choose the animal though some Therians called Otherlink choose to be a Therian

What is Otherkin ?

Otherkin is someone who identifys as something non human, Therians, objectkin etc fall under this category.

While Otherkin is also someone who identifys as a mythical creature.

What's conceptkin?

Conceptkin is a subcategory of otherkin wherein an individual identifies as an abstract concept of some variation. Experiences of someone who identifies as a concept are varied and often are difficult to understand, even between conceptkin.

Examples are: Musickin, Earthkin, Oceankin etc.

What is a fictionkin?

Fictionkins are people who identify as fictional character(s)/species from tv shows, video games, folklore, ect.
