What this group is and how it works (PLEASE READ)
Pretty recently, I started making collectable capes.
These specific capes are be called Collectable Capes, or "CC"s. The idea I had was that the CCs could be similar to PMT (Planet Minecraft Trading cards). Here, you can trade the CCs that you've acquired for more valuable CCs or, if you have enough, a custom CC made by me.
(For legal reasons I must say that these Collectable Capes have no real life monetary value at all are are meant for solely for trading for other Collectable Capes)
Disclaimer: this group requires you to make a planetminecraft collection that you have to check in on every time you trade CCs. If you do not want to make a collection, then nobody will see what you have and no trades will occur.
CC Values, How to trade CCs, and adding CCs to your collection
Every CC has 3 Rarities. Common, Rare, and Legendary. These rarities can be used can be used as markers to gauge how valuable a certain CC is compared to another CC.Common CCs have a rarity level of 1
Rare CCs have a rarity level of 2
Legendary CCs. All custom CCs are Legendary.
All CCs will have their rank shown, whether it be in the content page or as a wall post drop.
Take these factors in mind when trading. It's more logical to offer 10 or 15 common CCs for a legendary one than just trying to trade 1 Common CC for a Legendary one.
You may be wondering how people can keep track of their CC collections. It took me some time to figure it out, but here's how it works:Planetminecraft has a feature that allows you to create collections of content, whether you own it or not. Using this feature, you can add CCs to your collections.
Every CC that exists is listed as a blog, whether it is up for being sold, limited edition and gone, or sold. If you own a CC, simply find and click on it's content page, and add it to a new collection titled something like "username's CC Cape collection". Due to the fact that every CC is listed as a blog, you can just add all the CCs that you own to your collection. After you gain or lose a CC, you can add/remove it from your collection.
note that this requires you to create a collection that you must be on top of to participate in the group
There are 2 ways to get CCs. 1.Most CCs are earned by looking out for limited edition CC drops, which usually happen as wallposts.
2. Trading with another player. You can make a wallpost offering your CC for another CC. Make sure to find and link the CC you want to trade in the wall post. If someone wants to trade and you both agree, both members add the CC they received from the content page by adding it to their collection and removing the CC they traded to the other player from their collection.
In the CC shop widget, you can trade certain rare CCs for a custom, one of a kind CC made by me that would have more value for trading.
Every player starts with the same 3 CCs. You can trade these capes for other CCs, slowly trading until you get more and more valuable CCs!
If you would like to actually have the Png file of a cape you own, just PM me and I can send you the file! The whole point besides trading and collecting capes is for this to be a way for me to share capes I make with a little twist of having to earn them and being able to receive a custom cape if you make enough progress!
